Met a couple of Church Planters in Detroit

Matt and I just got back across the border from Canada to Michigan and decided to stop by Slows BBQ for lunch! Apparently this is the best place to eat BBQ food in Michigan and after eating there - I cosign! As we were waiting to be seated, this man approached us and told us about a church he is planting in Detroit, gave us his contact information and then he left. They left Matt and I with a lot to talk about. I've never really been exposed to church planting, so I was pretty intrigued.

As soon as we got home, we checked out the church website (www.resdetroit.org) and found some solid stuff. We spent time praying for the church plant and even considered sending money to them. Snooped around on facebook and found Pastor Mike Hanafee - I believe my husband is in contact with him.

Excited to see what the Lord leads us to do from here.
