Luther Golden, our new friend!

Tonight Matt and I brought home our puppy Luther. He is an Italian Mastiff (Cane Corso) so he will be a giant beast when he is fully grown. I've never been much of a dog person but my heart melts everytime Luther looks at me with his big brown puppy eyes.

I don't know the type of responsibility this breathing living being will add to my already full plate but I know I can manage. I know without a doubt that he will challenge my patience and my need to be "neat" all the time. I am thankful that I get to be a care taker for a living being that has only "bark" to give back to me.

I am also deeply grateful to our fam who gifted this beast to us. What an act of generosity to give us this house warming gift.
