Moving into Edison Street!
Today is a big day! Not only is it my sister's birthday but it is also the day that Matt and I get to move into the house we have been praying for. This isn't our house yet... we're hoping it can be,
The paragraph below was written by my husband a year ago...
Maja and I ARE in fact planning to move into the city of Detroit soon. Exactly when and exactly where are 2 things still to be prayed about and decided on. I have had some discussions with some people close to me and though some have been extremely encouraging and supportive, the majority seem to be in the lane of "are you crazy?" and "Please tell me you aren't serious.". I plan on jotting down a lot of what God has been doing in my heart and in my life over the past year with spending more time in the city so that I can share it with all of you, but for now... I'm going to leave it to a song that recently rocked me. They words penned in the 2nd and 3rd verses of the song attached are currently the "heartbeat" of Maja and I as God continues to WRECK us and burden us for the city. Please listen, read, enjoy, be challenged and if you know Jesus and his grace and long to see others turn to HIM for hope... PRAY FOR US...

I am reflecting on how merciful God has been to us to change our hearts and to lead us into coming to Detroit and preparing a place for us. Please continue to pray for us.
